Dell actually went and recalled/replaced these battery laptops for free even if the warranty was over but stopped in Sept 2018. I did some looking online and found out other people ran into the same issue with a earlier model, the 9500 to 9550. The touchpad was literally lifted and looks like it about to pop out. This laptop was out of warranty (purchased in Feb 2019) and this laptop is around $3000 and both me and the client couldn't believe how bad this turned out with the battery looking like it about to exploded. I called Dell and while calling them, I read online that the same series of laptops (series) seem to have encounter the same exact issue with batteries doing the same thing. Today I was at a client's home and discovered her 1 1/2 year Laptop has a swollen battery which I have seen before but only with older laptops that been around for more then 2-3 years.
